Note the BR Standard 12 ton ventilated vans and the Presflow cement wagons in the yard sidings on the left of the picture as well the unkempt state of the site of the two sidings on the right which had originally been used for goods wagons to and from the goods shed. This area is is now the station garden. There are more pictures as well as videos on the Station History page of this site.
